It is Hassan al-Asmar. As far as I can find, the original album was "Al Wad Da Aih," and the song is listed as just one "Toba."

    Thank you Tourbeau,
do you have it on cassette or cd?

I found a loose translation here:

I wish I owned it, but I don't. I found the name of the record on an Arabic web site that has a lot of his catalog online and arranged by album. Neither of the two major retailers of Arabic music in the US carry much by Hassan al-Asmar, and since he's an older sha'abi/baladi artist, locating his music to purchase comes down to the blind luck of wandering into the right mom-and-pop importer's store (especially unlikely if you don't live in an area with a large ME Diaspora).

    Thanks for the translation, BTW.

He was and is so good-I love his voice and the catchy melodies, but he´s mostly avaliable on pirated cd:s/cassettes in Egypt/neighbouring North Africa which is a shame.

Would love to buy myself a full collection,no matter the sound quality!

Yes, it is a shame more dancers do not know about him and use his music, but the availability of the recordings is a big factor. There's a lot of wonderful "lost" music out there.
