Thread: Please name these 2 songs I got from an Orit Maftir's workshop

Going through my music library, I've listened and loved again these 2 tracks I got at one of Orit Maftir's workshops in Paris but I can't find the names, composer etc...
As the sound quality is bad, I'd also like to know where to find them, preferably internet download.
lyrics would be great too!

The first one is an older song, "Ya helw sabah," but I can't ID the singer. Lots of people have recorded it, but the definitive version is Mohammed Qandil's. (Unfortunately, that's not the one on Orit's CD.) Orit's version seems to be the same as the unnamed one Anastasia Mishkuts is using on her YouTube clip, so between that and the overall production, I would guess it is on a dancer-produced CD, and probably not very old. Hopefully someone will recognize it specifically.

No clue on the second clip...

I actually recognize the second one but I can't think of the name of it. I'm sitting here at my desk sifting through my iTunes library while I work, so if I find it I'll let you know.

But I also wanted to say -- you attended a workshop with Orit? I am so jealous!

The first one is indeed ya helwa Sabah as Tourbeau says and it is the version from Yasminas CD Heya di Yasmina slightly edited at the beginning

The second song is Raks Mimi from the CD Oriental Fantasy Vol.11 by Beata and Horacio Cifuentes. You can buy it online on their online shop.

Mmm. That second song sounds very familiar but I can't place it. I don't have any of the OF cd's other than volume ten but I do know they tend to rename songs. I know this song from somewhere else.
