About the thobes. Think of it this way. They have MORE fabric than other costumes and WAY MORE handwork in sequins, embroidery and beads. Plus an inner dress as well.

My own thobe is silk with tons of sequins and gold wire embroidery. Very delicate and all appears to be done by hand. Not cheap. And much more beautiful than machine embroidered Indian imports. I bought it used. It had been custom made in Saudi for original owner. Even though it was more used than many new ones, it was worth every penny.

I tried that Eman Prestige on at Rakkasah... or attempted to anyway. The skirt is SO small it's ridiculous! Really out of proportion. That model has it TOTALLY unzipped in the back, I guarantee it. LOL...

But I'm with you on that. I saw that on the website and nearly fainted.

Whoa I just looked at the back photo and she got it zipped. I'll be DAMNED.

It was SO tiny in person, that's downright amazing.
