Thread: Would love help with a coin costume

OK, I finally got a big ole' pile of coins. Would people be willing to share photos of their coin costumes for inspiration; the kind with sewn on coins? For example, I remember Tamra Henna had a super cute copper one. Don't worry, I won't copy it exactly, just looking for good coin layout ideas. Thanks!

I have a couple of more half way made, I will try to post pics later.

check out my website. My gold one - belt is made of commemrative coins, is all over there.

Oh, and the original owner sewed chains onto the belt form and then added the coins using O rings. I am slowly replacing the rings with split rings.

Thanks ladies. It seems like all the coins have a split ring first and then the split ring is sewn onto the fabric? I'm assuming this is for movement.
