Actually, it is a fly mask. for a horse. An Arabian horse to ward off not only flies but also the desert sands. But still....who would wear this on their face? On stage???

Jeez, I'm glad I didn't have a mouthful of coffee when that image came up.
I love the little hat part with the fuzzy ball border... but all I can think when I look at the screen-door stuff is...

I would not have disfigured my horse with something like that! Putting that on a horse boarders on animal abuse.
Interestingly, the fly thingies I know are made from chainette-style fringe, and hang like a curtain over the horse's eyes. Now, that I can sympathize with, and it leaves room for tasteful coordinating.
