Thread: Costume DVD from vendor

One of my friends received a DVD of costumes from Audrena.com -> The Belly Dance Store recently. Is this new? Or have I been out of the loop? Seems like a great idea - Dahlal has their newsletter, so this seems similar, but you can pop it into your DVD player. Wonder how the photo quality is - it would be nice to see details on a big screen t.v.

(My friend has never purchased a costume from Audrena, so isn't sure how she ended up on the mailing list. May have purchased something smaller from her at Rak East.)

Ma'shuqa gave me one of these DVDs when I was at Rakkasah West. It was interesting to see familar faces like Jasmine Jahal among the models!

I got my hands on one about 5 years ago...so, I doubt they're new.
I always thought it was an economical way to do a newsletter like Dhalal's. I think I even still have the disc, for future costume ideas.

This is a much better idea than the "cold call" telemarketing a vendor has been doing in recent months, which does nothing but annoy as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to see the DVD!

Wow! VHS? That must've been a pain to produce and mail! Of course, with little or no internet, you gotta get photos of your products out somehow.
