Thread: My Big, Fat, Wake Up Call....

My main "worry points" (only two at the moment) on my own body are:

1) When I take a break from the dance (longer than a couple of weeks) that my hips square off. Nothing helps to push me back into the dance faster than the husband saying, "Hun, you're getting a little square in the hips."

2) Too much "reverb". It's okay for a hip snap to go "snap, wunga, wunga", but when it goes "snap, wunga, wunga, wunga, wunga" well then, things might happen to be just a little too loose and jiggly. ..l;,

I love this, TT. I see your "wunga, wunga, wunga, wunga" and raise you two "wungas," but I'm working on it.

Doozer: By training and inclination most of us are far kinder and more forgiving to others than we are to ourselves. There's plenty to go around for ourselves and for others, but it's hard to see that sometimes. Please don't beat yourself up -- it makes the hard work of getting healthy that much harder. Besides, dancing in the body you're in is so much more fun than putting your life on hold while you wait for a different one to arrive!
