Re: Skirts Too Sheer
I like leg show through side splits.
Am not keen on a glimpse through sheer and semi sheer skirts. I like boy shorts, hate butt cheek exposure and worse.
I don't like nude knickers except when a dancer is wearing a dress or skirt with cut-outs. I prefer to see matching/toning full butt-cover or boy shorts and know the dancer has 'em on!

Speaking of sheer skirts. . . I like that they put undies on the manequin -- or maybe they are built in.

On a slight tangent, how do we feel about footless tights under sheer skirts? Handy bit of modesty, or a bit Pan's People?

Re: Skirts Too Sheer
Myself I lean towards the Pan's People side of things, but that's probably because of my age. My wee young student who loves all things 80s would probably think it was so kewl.
I saw Tamrahenna (Tx? not sure which one you are) in a slim-fitted sheer Saidi dress with boot cut type pants underneath, and that looked great.
