Thread: Squashed Bra Cups

Looking for advice from all costume divas. I am a larger cup size and I bought my costume used. It's gorgeous and I love it however...the cups look squashed.w.:. I don't know if it was the way it was previously stored or what but when it's on it doesn't fill out correctly. I know it's not lack of ta's causing this. It's a Bella so I know it's great quality. This is the first Bedlah set I own. Is this normal? Any remedies? Is it just because the beads pulled it too tight? Is it time to break out the tupperware as forms?..l;,

Any advice and wisdom appreciated ..g.:

Wet the cups and encasing farbric really well...dripping. Turn the bra over and suspend somehow. Put in 2 large heavy grapefruit into bra and let dry in place....really....

these ta-ta's ain't big enuf, so can't help ya.........but i LOVE anala's solution! (citrus wise, i'd say mine are lemons.........or maybe tangerine........)

the one bra I bught used was semi squished also. I got lots of advice here on bhuz. Things that I tried:

*adding some plastic boning to the inside of the cups.
*filling the cups with heavy round objects, like the above mentioned grapefruit.
*similar: round object/stuffing under the cups and put a heavy bra with good cups on top.
*attach hard cups to the inside (this only helped a little, but it did something) like ones you can get at Joann Fabric

Dont be afraid to get the costume wet....plastic, lycra, beads...whats to hurt?

This is great information for me, too, because I just bought a costume in similar condition; everything is beautiful except the cups are wonky. I figured I'd wear a regular bra underneath, but the grapefruit idea is wonderful. I'll try it and let everyone know...

Dont be afraid to take the melons out as the fabric dries and massage the cups to encourage them to undent...Steaming works well too...but I do that only on the inside of the cups to soften the foundation material..think cheap football vinyl. Thats usually what is making up the cup itself.

Thank you so much... I am glad I am not the only one.

My ex used to say Casaba Melons... My DH says honeydew or cantaloupe... but those personal watermelons are pretty damn close.

I sold one that I baught used, when i got it it had squashed cups that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED......I am so sad now

Can't wait to get my costume back so I can try the fruit theory! The other day while looking for a fruit match up I measured the inside of my bra cups and found out it is 11 inches!.w.: Sadly I think I will need something bigger than apples...perhaps Watermelons.....l;,

yep...sugar babies...they weigh more than cantalopes as the are more dense. Fortunatley my boobies are big, but with age they have become not so dense. They take the shape of whatever container they are put in Odo...remember Odo?
