Re: swarovski fringe
I've used Swarovski crystals in fringe, and they're very sturdy. But, as you're stringing them, keep an eye out for chips along the holes- those might cut through the thread later.

Re: swarovski fringe
I've used the czech glass beads to make fringe and I was worried that they might chip during shimmies, but they seem to have held up just fine. My original thought was to use swarovskis but they were out of my price range. Although I think that if you can afford it then they will make marvelous fringe. Please do post pics!

Re: swarovski fringe
That sounds AWESOME!!! I can't wait to see the photos of it when you are finished.
I dream of one day having a bra and belt set made completely out of AB crystals... and I'd call it the Disco Ball.
I like to shop for Swarovski crystals from an ebay store called Whitestone's Rhinestones.

Re: swarovski fringe
I know someone who uses the crystals exclusively in beading fringe. The costumes cost around $3000! They are heavy too. But the bling is unmistakeable.
