Mine board currently houses the iridescent blue/black pearls that the husband acquired for me direct from China *several* years ago. I've absolutely GOT to find the time to finally gradient color sort them by natural light so that we can tie them off into appropriate necklaces. (Bad me, always putting this off for other projects or simply for time for my sanity.) ..g.:

As a beader the bead tray it really is your friend. My hubby got me one that is like a lap one(like them book ones) so i can watch tv and bead.I am clueless where he got it but its been using it for 10 years now. Like he would remember anyhow

yes... definitely a must have for people who make jewelry. I don't know how many times I screwed up sets before I bought one of these....but $1 is def. a good deal!

These are so useful for beading. I also like beading mats which are made of a furry ,grippy fabric. They are a tiny bit easier to put away.

The husband made a cardboard box the size of mine so that I could put it away on a shelf easily. Could have made the box myself, but he was happy to do it for me - two pieces of cardboard just the right size (or cut down to it) and with the edges folded and secured to make a perfectly appropriately sized box to hold the tray. (This is probably one of the reasons the pearls are all still nestled in place in my tray.) ..g.:
