Thread: Photo Shoot Results!

I had a great photo shoot this past weekend with Richard Nagle of Night Owl Photography in Naperville, IL. He's the same person I did my very first photo shoot with in 2006, back when we were both starting out on the pro circuit. In the two years since, his experience, equipment and talent has grown amazingly. I'm so very happy about how many wonderful shots I got, and wanted to share with and get feedback from my fellow bhuzzers! I'm really looking forward to updating my website, flyers and business card with the best ones. Below is a link where you can see the ones that range from pretty decent to IMO fantastic:

A big shout out to my dear friend Hafiza, who came along as my "stylist" on the shoot to help me change, suggest poses and all around make me relax and have fun. ..g.: Plus she lent me the beautiful fire veil I used in the first few shots.

If any Chicago/Midwest area dancers are looking for a great photographer, I can't recommend Rich highly enough. His work is great, and he's a real sweetheart to work with.

Thank you! Yep, it's pleather, but light as air and super comfortable! I got it from vendor and fellow Bhuzzer Andrea2, whi I also got the red costume from.

Maybe I'm a goofball, but I love the shots of it with the fedora - we just put it on as a lark (it's Rich's hat) and decided to take a few pics with it on. I call them the "nod to my Fosse roots" pics.

Wow! Gorgeous shots, Laura. My favourite is 66, too. I love the lines of your body in that one. But 31 (with the fedora) is a close second!

Awwwww, you guys know how to make a girl feel so special about herself!

I'm glad so many of you like the saiidi pics. I was supposed to have my gold sequined cane as a prop, but I left it at home! ..cr.: Amazingly, Rich had a bamboo cane, so I just decided to try and make it work.

I love the saiidi pics and the pleather cossie because they´re diffrent from ´cabaret´pictures. The one with the hat is cute too!

Gorgeous, Laura! I love the black pleather one with your hands in your hair. Holy hotness!

The little bit I got to drive through of Naperville seemed lovely. From everyone's wonderful feedback, I can definitely say it was worth the 2 hour and 20 minute drive to get there for the shoot. ..g.:

I haven't been on bhuz for a while, so this is my first time seeing these. Wow you are stunning. However, you are stunning no matter what you do. And Rich did a fantastic job! I did not know he was doing private BD photo shoots. I've always admired his work! Well done, both of you's!
