    The Best Eyelash Curler?

    Hi!

I remember that there was talk about a good (or the best ever) eyelash curler? Now I'm making a shopping list for my travel to USA and would like to get that information. I can't seem to find the thread.

    Does anyone remember?

I don't remember what the thread said, but Mary Kay makes a fantastic one. When you are here, just ask around for a Mary Kay consultant - there are lots of them!! It is my favorite, hands down, and I have tried a lot of them!

Haven't tried the Mary Kay one, but I like the heated one from Sephora. No pinching or crimping, just long-looking lashes!

i like the shu uemura eyelash curler best, and have tried just about every major brand at every price point.

the pad is very gentle and curved just right so you don't get that 90 degree angle crimped in your lashes

I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard over and over that the Shu Uemura one is the best there is.

I think it depends on the shape of your eyeball. I've had luck with some, no luck with others.

If you don't care to put your eye into a contraption, Tweezerman makes a small eyelash curler where you can curl just sections of your lashes. I use it a lot for clients b/c it fits to any eyeball shape.

    Good luck!

I use Shu...for small curlers there are other brands (Japonesque, for one) that make them too. I've also heard the Shiseido is very comparable to Shu.

I'd like to try the Shu Uemura one, but haven't yet. I've been surprisingly pleased with the Sonia Kashuk one I got at Target! It works beautifully with just a little squeeze!

Thank you so much. I'm happy that you read the stuff and find it interesting.

Yes, Michelle did all the work. Now I'm updating and putting all the new stuff myself. Just wait, there is three more new articles coming soon, insh allah. One about Siwa, one about winter in Egypt and one about costuming for dancers over here. So you have more to read.

Good thread! I have the cheap Revlon one and I can't say that it makes me sing songs about it. I'm curious about what makes the Shu one better--it looks just like the Revlon one.

My main problem with eyelash curlers is that they're like little scissors on my lashes--I end up with lots of breakage. ,f:: I've been considering one of the heated ones. Anyone else have recs on those??
