    Deodorant wipes?

Maybe I am giving away a patentable idea by asking here ;-) I am looking for the equivalent to the sunscreen wipes: Is there a source for deodorant wipes? I'd love to have that for my dance bag. I know, I know - environmentally irresponsible! But, for an emergency, that sounds very useful and handy, and I firmly dislike travel-size deodorant.

    Dunno, Avon - maybe?

Desert Essences makes a great one that I like in lavender. Not overpowering and they feel clean.

I use one of two things: Thai Crystal Deoderant in spray form or, if things are really bad, cotton balls presoaked in rubbing alcohol and stored in a plastic bag. Both are lifesavers after one already smells .

There are several brands here in the UK, I always keep a pack in with my dance stuff, they wipe away any odour and leave behind deodorant. They work much better than just layering more and more deodorant on!
I would imagine they are widely available in the US too? Surely any good chemist sells them?

I carry the Avon deo wipes with me ALL the time! I love them. Mostly the Avon Naturals since they had a pleasant scent, but I don't know if those are still made. I know Avon still makes the Pro Sport wipes. The scent is a bit more masculine though, but better than the alternative without a wipe at all.

Baby wipes also work wonders. They are the "be all end all."

    Re: Deodorant wipes?

First, thanks for all leads! Here's the report of my follow-up action, since I think this may be useful for others as well:

Baby wipes are of course part of every bellydancers gig bag ;-) But, they don't go all the way. I get rather sweathy, and would like a little bit more.

Armed with the leads posted here, I went to different drug stores, but they only carry babywipes and disinfectant wipes - and finally, this morning, it occurred to me to stop at an old-style, privately owned drug store that I usually don't have on my radar. I explained my quest in great length, and after a little while, the lady behind the counter produced a little container of "Fresh Every Time - Single Use Pads" of pre-soaked deodorant pads!!! Granted, not single-wrapped, but I can put a few of these in a little plastic baggie, and I am all set!!!

Add to that Avon wipes - and I will be a clean and fresh bellydancer!

And, that store also had "smudgees" - presoaked, individually wrapped q-tips, to clean up my eye-makeup a little bit!

    Re: Deodorant wipes?

The smudgee thingies have non-oil eye makeup remover. The lady at the counter emphatically said these are wonderful and that she carries them. I will test them this weekend, I think.

One can probably get the same functionality through other means, but the idea strikes me as very convenient for situations where space and time is tight.
