Re: Mistura Makeup: Too good to be true?

Well, the owner did send me a full-sized sample of the products and, I have to admit, I like it! I am extremely surprised, but I do! I will have a review on my blog within the next day or so, but I am flabbergasted to find that it actually looks good on me!

I want to take the opportunity to personally thank those of you who wrote to our company requesting samples and those who were both courteous and communicative about this issue. I apologize wholeheartedly if some requests for samples over the past few days have gone unanswered. Our computer systems have been undergoing some re-formatting and it has taken a while to get everything up and running again. Rest assured that we will get those out to you right away and thank you all in advance for your interest and willingness to try Mistura.

I look forward to continuing the lovely email exchanges I have enjoyed with many of you since my discovery of bhuz.

I have also received a sample,
so far I like it as an eyeshadow.
I made a mess when i applied it on my whole face cause i put too much on, it does say you need a tiny bit , but I am not the best with make-up.

My skin is very pale these days so it wasnt really forgiving when i had a little too much on the brush. the tricky part is if you want to conceal a major red patch like I have i tried to put more powder to see if it would dissapear but then then powder came much too dark looking on my pale skin.
under the eye it did seam to make my dark circle go away.
But for a red patch i will still need to use a concealer.

I have to try again to use it in my face see if it can work on me , but it is fine as a simple natural looking eyeshadow . and no perfume is also a good point for my sensitive skin.

    Hi Ladies!

I just wanted you to know that our new website is FINALLY up and running. We have made some enormous changes based on our e-commerce success and have added some features to the site that make it a little easier to navigate. Our offer to send out free samples remains and you'll be pleased to know that some belly dancers in Ottawa (our city) saw these posts and have been using it on stage. I guess if you put enough on...it gives you the rich color that you need to accentuate your cheeks during performances.

To request a free sample, please email me directly at andi.marcus@misturabeauty.com OR go to Mistura Beauty Solutions Webshop | Home and enter your info on the contact page.

    Thanks again!

    Andi

I kept meaning to send you a thank you email and never got around to it. I received my sample and a free t-shirt back in July after reading the posts here. Thanks! ..g.:

I am interested in a sample, but am afraid that this product has Bismuth in it, which I am lightly allergic to (itching), so I won't be able to use it. I am an Aromaleigh/Everyday Minerals gals, because they are sans Bismuth and have great prices and color ranges.

Here are the ingredients of the powder:

The Mistura 6-in-1 Refill: Talc, Triethylhexanoin, Zinc Stearate, Tocopherol Acetate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, +/- (May Contain): Mica (77019), Titanium Dioxide (77891), Iron Oxides (77491, 77492, 77499), Ultramarines (77007), Yellow 5 Lake (19140:1), Blue 1 Lake (42090:2)

No bismuth. It is indeed intriguing...
