Make-up suggestions
So I have an interesting problem. I have psoriasis and it has recently starting showing on my face. I don't normally wear make-up on a day to day basis. My issue is with the redness on my face. People are starting to stare and although the redness/dryness does not bother me, I am tired of people staring. Are there any powders that I could use that would tone down the redness that you all could suggest? Foundation just grabs on the the dry skin and intensifies the flaky look. I threw in a picture so that you could get a gist of what I am talking about but of course they are not great so imagine the red more prominent.

Re: Make-up suggestions
There are others here more knowledgeable than I about this, but I wonder if a tinted moisturizer would help. I don't care for foundation either (just don't like the feel), but I've used a Clinique product called "Almost Makeup". Don't know if they make it anymore, but it was a nice lightweight tinted moisturizer that I used in lieu of foundation.

Re: Make-up suggestions
Linny,
Larenim makes a green corrective powder you can try.
Might also want to pick up a cream-based green concealer. The cream base gives it emolliency (i just made up that word if it currently does not exist!) to reduce flakiness. The green will cancel out the red.
Then you apply your regular foundation (whatever you use) on top. Or you mix the green with a foundation product.
Whichever you decide on, green cancels red.
I will be covering basic color correction/color theory in the makeup DVD. ;0)

Re: Make-up suggestions
Hay Linny G !
I'v found , working with a primer (like Smashbox) really helps the foundation from "grabbing" the dry skin, and you don't need as much product. Also, Azhia's suggestion of green correctors work great! They can take a little practice to get the hang of, a little goes a loooong way. You might also try some of the Derma color concealers. They have an almost khaki colored one(#D6) I use on red blotchy skin. works awesome, and you can sweat and swim in it.
