    "Crystal Clear Mini Face Lift"

Knowing my "concerns" (obsession?) with ageing, my other half gave me a pressie.

It's this pack called "Crystal Clear Mini Face Pack Lift" and it promises wonderful things (nothing new there then).

    Anyone heard of it/used it?

Re: "Crystal Clear Mini Face Lift"

Hahahahahaha great name for a thread. What was that TV programme where someone was into women's wattles? Oh yes it was Ally McBeal. hahaha

My main problem area is my wattle area. I use a Cleo machine (electronicl device with stickers and wires) about three times a week and it seems to keep the upper part of my face sorted pretty much (I mean there are crows feet, but I don't mind them, they remind me of my dad). But the bags were turning into suitcases and now that's reversed.

The wattle area has always been the worst part just because of my bone structure and I'm sure the machine thing is helping but anything that gives a good pick up before a special event is always of interest to me!

I've used Clarins' Beauty Flash Balm and something called "Miracle" I think by Prescriptives, even mixing them together at times lol! It gives a smooth finish and a little bit of a line fill so that's nice. But I feel like I should be stapling skin back together at my ears sometimes!!

I really don't mind getting older and looking older, I just don't want to look tired and worn out that's all. I have even asked Rocky what she does to look so young but I'm not willing to go down that route (she advises fresh of a virgin).

The only other thing I've tried is something called Athena, which is a miniscule jar of a putty-like substance that you mix with a bit of water and then brush on eith rover or under your makeup. I couldn't see much difference and only used it twice.

Have you found anything remotely effective? Perhaps I should stop waffling and get wattling and go over to the other thread - thanks for the pointer

Yes I did type b-l-o-o-d ... perhaps Rosey might want to see if that's one of the problem words, along with f-o-r-g-o-t. Perhaps it just gets words where the second letter is an "o" ... no, not that, cos otherwise half the words in this sentence wouldn't show. Two "o"s perhaps?

As to the Cleo, I got mine about 10 years ago and they have upgraded the model now so it doesn't take as long to run the programs.

club-cleo.com - Cleo Q facial exerciser, anti ageing treatments and kegel pelvic floor exercises

I think it's the only one using that particular technology and it was developed by medics for people suffering from Bell's Palsy and the effects of strokes etc. It was so effective that someone had the bright idea of letting everyone have a go (for a fee lol!).

I definitely have seen results. Reversal of certain ageing features (such as the eyebags and my cheekbones having a bit more lift and the bit between the nose and cheekbones). You do have to do it about 3 or 4 times a week, but it doesn't hurt or anything. People don't stick with it (forgive the pun) because the electrode pads/stickers tend to start to fall off after the first use. But I don't care, I stick mine on with micropore tape. I mean I already look like a complete alien with it on and the kids are past being scared of me now.

I have used it every day for the last two weeks because I REALLY want to see some results now. For years I didn't use it much at all through sheer lethargy, but now that I am getting comments from people I know well about how good I look these days, I think I will take it to the max. There's a great "before and after" on the website and it's so good it doesn't even look like the same woman. As a pro photographer and retoucher, I can say that I don't think they've been retouched, so either:

The "before" photo was taken years AFTER the "after" photo (i.e. the after photo is actually one that she had taken in her twenties!)

    or

    it actually does work

    or

    they are two different people

Anyway I would recommend it if you are the sort of person who will stick with something. I think they cost about £300 GB now, but I last time I was on buying my sticky pads and gel, I noticed that they do interest free credit!

They also do programs for cellulite, hands (cos they too get old looking eh?), tummies, boobs, and pelvic floor. Probably some others too. They sell the usual add-on crap such as sun tan lotion and stuff but I just get the stickers and the gel.

I think I need to ask them for commission. I must have mentioned this on about five threads now.

Yes it has about three or four different programs for the eyes - total eye conditioning, under eye, and eye lift, maybe another (can't remember right now).

I did go to see a cosmetic surgeon about a scar on my arm (from a non-laser tattoo removal), and we ended up talking about botox/face lifts etc. I mentioned the Cleo to him and he said that he had heard it was very effective and seemed a bit disappointed that I was talking about it (I expect he saw the pound notes staying in my purse rather than flying towards him as he was used to).

As for the scar I cover it for performance so not really a prob there, although recently I have been considering having a pretty henna-style tattoo put over the scar because it is rather unsightly
