Thread: the last time i buy from victorias secret

so i know the sizes run small but i ordered a size 10 thinking if it was a bathing suit i should be fine

well i ordered one of those magic suits, its supposed to pull you in, the stomach area, and push up the boobs. yeah i know considering a boob job and still buying push up..damn doc office hasnt called me back yet ...

this sucker after shipping was 164 . if anyone tells my husband i'll blackmail you into hiding the rest of your life.

it was like trying to get into a wetsuit. i ordered wine and what arrived was a rather dull eggplant (barf) . i could barely get it over my hips. if anyone ever had to drag me out of the ocean and do cpr they will need a knife to get it off me. i finally got it up, my boobs were under my chin and unfortunately they still use the same ole cheap pads they always did that somehow wiggle out when you are swimming and oops look there's pads floating next to you wonder what those are (and people ask if i'm worried if anyone will comment about fake breasts BAH!)

it was very uncomfortable and there was so much pressure on my stomach i felt like i had to have a bowel movement. instead of neatly pulling in my postpartum flub it just rearranged it into a lumpy mess

my ass was a disaster. full coverage back..stay away from those. i'd rather scare people with a bit too much visible butt cheek than have one of these suits slice my ass in half..wear them too low and they look like bad shorts, too high and you get four ass cheeks.

i also fell into the trap of ordering tummy panties that help hold it all in. dummies sent me the wrong pairs but i still have to pay shipping to have them exchanged. they better make me look good or else i'm gonna get nasty with some fool in customer service

i suppose i should stick to papaya and avocado? god i want chocolate

Girl, why order a bathsuit when you live in Hawai'i??? Aren't there enough shops that sell them?

I only ever by bikinis that I can try on first. Especially since my butt is one size bigger than my chest.
Better go spend the money at Loco Boutique

This is the funniest post! I have ordered and purchased from V.S. and find the quality is always a little iffy. On another note, I have always dreaded bathing suit shopping until last summer when I discovered "Magic Bra" at Macy's in New York. I purchased a simple brown bikini and not only is it really well made, but gives a nice yet natural looking lift to my tiny 34 B's. They do one and two piece and have some saucy, elegant offerings . They don't have a website though. . .you have to order online or go to the Dept. Store

I had a suit from VS too and it was pretty much destroyed after 2 weeks on a beach in Florida. The sun and surf totally weakened the elastic and lycra and bleached the color out of it. I just think a $100+ suit shouldn't be that messed up after 2 weeks of normal use. They also tinkered with my favorite bra by using cheaper fabric and crappy workmanship then upping the price.

I'm done with VS

it's a good important lesson about 'branding' i mean use top models but make suits in mexico = success with big bucks

i have a suit of theirs from a few years ago and am not impressed

i'm gonna stick to roxy and bug them to make fat girl suits:)

oh and just for one day i'd love to use that camel toe jpg for the intro on my site..HAHAHHAHAAHA people would be like WTF????

Jessina..I was already laughing at this part about the 4 ass cheeks when I scroll down to the camel toe ad!!! My 13 year old daughter says "Mom what's so funny?" and proceeds to come over and look. The cougar one...Too good!!

I just ordered several things from VS and one top was really loose in the chest. I knew I had ordered a small and the little cello bag said small on it. So I'm sitting there looking at myself in it in the mirror thinking, "What the hell? I know my boobs became even more non existent after I stopped nursing (which I didn't think was possible), but this is ridiculous!" So while I'm on the phone with the VS rep I happen to look at the tag and it's a size larger than I ordered, and she tells me they're out of my size. I usually give ppl the benefit of the doubt, but something was telling me it knowingly got put into a bag labeled with my size.

yeah, i'm less than impressed with vs quality too. got a swim suit from them recently. marginal quality at best.

and i think they are trying to be tricky with the bra sizing as well. the cups on some bra styles seem to be sized up to make us think we are larger. like the reverse of high end fashion houses that size down for vanity.
