06/01/08 - Removing grease stains from lycra?
So the restaurant I danced at last night has the greasiest floors and I discovered stains around the hem of my lycra skirt. How do I get them out without effecting the color of my skirt? I put a little talc on them last night, but they need more.
suggestions?

Mineral spirits? That stuff seems to get out most icky stains.

try letting the stains soak for a day in dish washing soap and then hand wash.

Dawn dish washing detergent. Great for getting grease out of fabric!

Yeah, or "Ultra" the cheap Safeway store brand. I use that all the time on oil stains and it really works for me.
