Hmmm, kinda like what Dr. Scholls were in the 70's. They were hyped up to be beneficial for shaping up legs and sounded like clogs.

The lace up ones look really cute!! Have not heard anything about them though.

They look like...Birkenstocks. Same shape footbed and all.

yeah, I work in the body building industry (I oil down bodybuilders). All the body builder girls are wearing them..but they are called something different. I can just imagine myself falling down a flight of stairs in those shoes!

hey. i got some a couple of weeks ago (from victoria's secret online). the footbed is shaped kind of like birks, but they are molded to have different densities in different parts of the sole - softer under the toes and heel, firmer under the arch, which supposedly gives a "micro-wobbleboard effect" and promotes a "more athletic gait." maybe it's a placebo effect, but i do feel these work my leg muscles better than plain ol' walking. they're also very comfortable.
