Thread: so i just bought a wii fit

cant find one in stores so i had to go thru ebay and pay extra for shipping to hawaii but we have the wii console so hey another 150 to play games while exercising why not :)

cant wait to try the downhill skiing..will fight the teenager for the game

i like that it tracks your exercise progress

anyone else have one ?

I want one so bad...but it's sold out here.

Now that I've seen this Wii fit I want a wii even more!

I love playing wii sports and mario olympics with my son.
I am not a fan of video games at all, but the concept of the Wii is great.

I went to buy a Wii fit but they were sold out : (
so I have to wait.

I have a little problem with Tiger Woods Golf--love that game!

The Wii is so fun. The boxing is so cool, too.

I needed a new phone or contract or something so the other half chose one that came with a free wii. Just in time for the half-term holidays too. We both promptly put our right shoulders out bowling.

I like it - and the age fitness test thing is fun. One day I was 76, two days later I was 25. Cool.

Ugh Wii fit... the very idea of getting up in front of tv and playing a game to exercise scares the crap outta me...LOL my family would laugh their a** off at me. No thanks! One of the reasons I love dance is that I am completely non-athletic. Dance is the only movement I can perform and look natural, i.e. not like an idiot! LOL

try ebay you guys especially if you are like me and dont like to wait :) my son's bday is in sept but wii are celebrating early since he'll be back in az. i paid extra to have it soon but love the concept too..my kid is a video junkie and at least this gets him off his butt:)

i was thinking of E-Bay, then my reasonnable self says I can wait, then I love any excuse to do some exercize so I dont want to wait...
I am more worried about the warranty thing when buying this on E-bay....

I have a wii fit and LOVE it! It is so fun. On the balance games my favorites are the ski jumping and the soccer one. In the aerobics, I like the super hula hoop, boxing, and step class. I get a workout but don't really notice cause I'm having fun. The yoga is nice but not my fave. Oh, I haven't found surfing yet but you open more games as you play so it might be in there. I just opened up snowboarding today.

We have one and I have played a bit but my husband hogs it all the time! It's kind of cool to see that it gets him to do yoga.
I could totaly see a bellydancing "game" with the wii fit!

Oh oH! I got one today--a slightly early birthday gift. I love it. It's so fun!

We love our Wii. And we all made cute litte Mii's to look just like us. I did buy the Wii fit but I have not used it yet. Something about the scale and the BMI scares me!

I think my Wii is a little forgiving in the BMI department, but I'll accept assessment that I am in the normal BMI range!

I got one about 10 days ago and just love it .

i had to stop using mine after surgery but now i'm back on it and love it. hula hooping is a blast. my older son set a goal to gain 2 pounds and he did it. i love how it measures and tracks for you..very neat tool

we have the wii fit and I love how it has really helped with my COB. I feel more comfortable that I am standing correctly. I haven't seen a surfing game. But the snowboarding and hula hoop are so much fun. I like the yoga adn actually pulled out my rachel brice yoga video again for my confidence in doing yoga has gone up. I have alot of wiggly lines on it but it's getting steadier.

I am pretty stable--a lot more than I thought I would be. I really like the hula hooping, the game where you try to roll the balls into the holes and the step aerobics although I the music is goofy and when you step in time with the music sometimes the balance board makes little sounds that are off the beat.

I like the Yoga, too.

have lost .2 pounds in two days. could be cuz i took a dump tho lol. sorry tmi.

hey i havent figured out how to enter in other exercise yet..there is supposed to be a way where you can enter in other non wii activities you do so it counts towards your progress..will go ask the teen

It keeps asking me if I want to enter other exercise when I do the part where it weighs me and checks my center of balance each day. I keep telling it to leave me alone.

Hey Jes, I got one of the Wii fit games and I just love it. I just got it so I haven't tried the yoga yet. All the kids were here though so we did all of the balance, cycling, bowling, skiing, kung fu and pretty much all of the others. The hoola hooping is fun too. I also like that it charts your' proress. I will have to figure all the rest out on my own as far as adding outside activities to the progress report. All my kids are gone! ..g.:
