Squished bra cups
I have a costume that I bought used awhile ago and one of the cups in the bra seems squished. Is there a way to fix this?

Re: Squished bra cups
ok...here goes. Wet them down real good with plain water and then suspend the bra cups with fruit..yes, I said fruit...in the cups till they dry. I my case..sugar baby watermelons. Massage the cups as they dry and put the fruit back in till totally dry.

I was hoping you'd chime in. Fruit? okay. if I wet it down that much will it hurt the beading, sequins or rhinestones?

Re: Squished bra cups
Rather than use water I often place the bra in my car during daylight hours and allow the bra to become warm. (Not too long, though. Don't want to cause sequins or palettes to curl.) Once warm use your hands to reshape the cups. Then use either fruit, tennis balls, socks, soup bowls, etc - whatever fits the cup to maintain the corrected shape until everything cools. If you can find something that fits the cup shape you can place the cups over the item in the vehicle, as it heats the cups will start to form to that shape. Be certain to avoid direct sunlight. I usually wrap the bra in a white towel. If you need to reshape a bra cup during cold weather you can wrap the bra in a white towel and place it adjacent to a lamp.

Interesting method!
A little water never hurt any of the bedlah that I have washed...but I live in the desert and water evaporates in a matter of seconds here.

Re: Squished bra cups
I've also used stiffener spay (with some sort of weights like the fruit mentioned) and plastic boning. But hopefully water and a little heat will fix it. ..g.:
