Thread: dance sneakers with SUEDE soles?

I like my dance sneakers for workshops because they pad my feet nicely... but I feel it in my knees if there are a lot of turns -- I get "caught" on the floor.

But recently somebody pointed these out to me:

Suede-sole sneakers! Has anyone here tried them out??

Inquiring feet want to know!

I haven't used them myself, but I know some people like them for swing dance. If you like to have a really slidey interaction with the floor, even suede will hold you back a bit, but my guess would be that it would be a good surface for what you need in class. Certainly an improvement over regular sneaker soles.
