Thread: exotic eyeshadow-zebra/camoflouge etc.

I thought I would share these with you guys. I was a bit intrigued by the concept.

Very cool! I'm digging the new "press on" eyeshadws. Avon is doing them too, but not in the animal prints!

Oh I didn't know about these! That leopard one would match a costume I'm attempting to pay off!

I saw the ones in Avon too. Has anyone tried these? How do they work? Does it apply easily and well? Does it last? I looove the Leopard!

I saw these at a makeup show in NYC. Fascinated by the concept, too.

Wondered how the one size fit all shape would fit everyone's ocular area. Perhaps they can be cut.

I had the same thought. It's a really cool idea, but eye shapes have such a range on different faces.
Seems like they used a few different models in the product shots. hmm...

I am in love with this idea and would like to know from someone who has used them if they are worth it. I am horrid at the whole make-up thing.

I have two samples left of the Avon variety. I'll mail them out to who ever wants to try them. You would think I would have made the time to try them myself, but I haven't yet.

Me too! I know how to do one look and one look only. I don't know how great it looks, but it's what I can do. I can't wait to hear about these. I'm especially wondering how well they stay on while sweating.

I have a feeling that they don't cause I haven't sold a single one yet and I have given all my regular customers samples.

ok, here is my quick and dirty review.

I had a bit of trouble lining it up with my eye, but I guess that will take practice.
Line it up, a bit of rubbing (I only did a bit of rubbing. I didn't get all the powder onto my eye lid, again - quick and dirty) and presto:

It has ZERO staying power as is. I guess if you had a base it would be better.
I'll use it for a night out drinking with the girls or on a date with the husband. Probably not for dancing unless you find a base or something. I'm not the expert on that one!

The color looks nice. I think I've heard that if you put moisturizer on your lid before makeup that it stays better. But I am no makeup expert.

Any experts out there?

i totally forgot to check this until today when avon catalogs were dropped on my doorstep. hmm.. this could be useful for those, i'm feeling to lazy to apply my eyeshadow days..
