Thread: black fishnet fabric

Hi all, I am having a terrible time trying to find plain old black fishnet fabric by the yard. I have already tried Spandex House, Spandex World, Theatre House, Fabric.com, Denver Fabrics, Fabric Depot.
Has anyone purchased black fishnet fabric recently? If so, where from? I am getting desperate, I think I may have to just buy some fishnet stockings and cut them up!

Yeah, it says they have it, but when I ordered it they called and said it was out of stock :(

I may have to do that, but I don't want to use RIT dye, so I'll have to do some research on what else works.
Who knew that something so basic would be so hard to find?!

Dharma Trading Co. has all sorts of dyes. Fishnet fabric is nylon, I believe, which takes dye. I think I even saw dye for polyester in their catalogue, which surprised the heck out of me.
