Midnight Blue Lycra/Mesh?? Adding to bra cups?

Hey everyone-I bought this awesome Pharonics from Rania, and it fits, but it is a bit too boobalicious for some audiences so I want to add some lycra or mesh material on the cups. It fits like a charm everywhere else! Do you all know where I can find that fine stretch mesh Pharonics uses or the lycra in this dark midnight blue (almost black)? It may be navy, but I can't be sure what it is called. Here are pictures of it http://www.bhuz.com/forum/bellydance...land-dawn.html

Also-Any advice on adding material to bra cups for more coverage?

I would take the headband that is pictured with the costume and add that to the top of the bra cups for a little extra coverage on top. Take the jeweled center piece part of the headband and match it up with the center portion in the bra. Then just whip stitch it along the top of the cups 'till you get to the shoulder straps and fold any remaining headpiece underneath itself so you don't have any extra hanging out beyond the strap.

This also makes it easy for a future owner to undo your stitching and be able to use the headband again!..g.:

I was just going to say that! I do this to about half my costumes. Another thing I have done is get fabric, either from the bottom of the skirt if it's too long or a matching fabric and add a very slight cowl neck to the bra. With an assymetrical bra like this one, I would make it higher on the side that doesn't have the dip on the bottom and have the other side meet the bra at the top of the cup. It would look like a parallelogram

    Good luck.

Wow thanks everyone-I really appreciate the suggestions....

I thought about the headband but I like it!!! Sniff-I wanted to wear it but I may have to sacrifice it anyway.

You'd be better off using the headband where it's going to be directly against the bra and then going out and finding yourself some matching fabric to make a new headband that won't be in direct contact with the costume. That way, if you don't get an exact match, it won't matter.

I have found matching fabric - sometimes I get lucky and find one in satin and one in chiffon - and I cut a triangle, edge and hem it, and ease the big end of the triangle between the bra cups and the lining and then sew. Then go under the halter straps and tie around the neck...retro style. If you hang big crystals from the points, it gives it a nice weight and swing between the shoulder blades, dahlink.
