    pre-performance bloat

Any suggestions on how to avoid that dreaded pre-performance bloat I always seem to get? ,m:: I try to limit the wheat, dairy and salt a few days before but nothing seems to work. Tips hints, etc anyone?

I am experiencing it right now. Luckily I have a week and a half left. First, you're doing all the right things. but let me tell you one of my secrets.

Yogi Tea - Peach Detox (provided you aren't pregnant). When I drink it, the next day I am de-bloated. Oh, and parsley.

I find avoiding starches works (sugar, bread etc).

Thanks to both of you! I have never heard of Yogi Tea - Peach Detox but will have to try it. And I never thought of parsley which I love! I cut out the sugar the last 4 days and that's tough because I love anything sweet.
I don't know why but the day after any performance I look great!
    Thanks again! Patricia

Ra-chell, also avoid cheeses and any other dairy products, like sour cream.

Shaharazad, I can live without the sour cream but a good sharp cheddar...(sigh)...well it's the only reason I'm not vegan. ..g.: But I'm being a good girl and there is not one piece of cheddar in the house this week.

Thanks Sabrina, you're right about drinking lots of water. I just have to keep reminding myself to do that.

Gosh, everyone has lots of good advice. Thank you! Patricia
