I've been using the the Maybelline Cover Stick for years! It's inexpensive and it is waterproof/sweat proof, blends really well with my skin. This is really the one item I can't live without. I have really fair skin, so zits will really show, and this is my secret weapon at hiding them.

Maybelline New York: Products: Cover Stick Corrector

In the meantime, if the blemish is still forming, trying icing it. It will help reduce redness and swelling so your body can reabsorb it faster. I've also come to believe in using vinegar (preferable apple cider vinegar) as a spot treatment. Just dab a little on with a q-tip or a cotton ball, I swear, they go away faster.

    Good luck!

Hi Sonja, how are things in K-town? If I have get one of those big mean ugly monsters I go get a spot IPL treatment. She zaps me with the laser twice right on the zit. I don't normally go to that extreme...only if it's really bad.
Honestly, I don't know how much it helps. Seems to make them go away a bit faster though.
    Hope to see you soon!!

Sometimes dabbing witchhazel or tea tree oil on the zit will help.

This probably doesn't help you now, but I have found that Everyday Minerals concealer is awesome for blemishes. I rarely get breakouts on my face, but I get them on my neck and hairline and back.

    Peroxide and a neckpiece.

I had a horrific, unhideable zit on my face once and I covered it in foundation and used brown eyeshadow to turn it into a beauty spot, because it was so raised mere coverup wouldn't do a thing.

Straight up alcohol. If it's red (and not shrunken yet) cover with green concealer + your foundation or regular concealer.

I use Hydrocortisone cream when I get a blemish and it makes them heal faster and tones down the red.

I'll throw in my 2 cents that neosporin is awesome for helping heal the blemish if (like me) you just can't keep your hands off it. I am so glad to know about the coverup options... Definitely appreciated. And let me just say---turning one into a beauty spot is genius. Hee hee! And...hello Alexandria!
