    Fringe for a dress...opinions, please?

Hey all you Bhuzzers! It's Friday night and here I am on Bhuz! You know you're a bellydancer when....right? Anyhoo, I bought a darling dress from another Bhuzzer that I love *but* it could use some hip fringe, in my humble opinion. Enter quite a few strands of AB glass beads that match the Ab rhinestones that decorate the neckline, arm scyes, sleeves, and cutouts. I've pinned the strands on my ever helpful friend Ethel, as pictured here. I'm planning on wearing this little number for a cane dance in the near future and I will be making a pretty beaded hair clip to wear in my presently Tinkerbellesque blonde pixie hair, but I digress: I'd love your opinions and/or ideas on what I have now. Thank you everyone!

I like the fringe. I think it could use a little bit more. The strands that are on there look a little lonely.

I agree. Moreover, I would put 2-3 strands at each point of attachment, rather than adding more single strands.

Guess my attempt at understated and elegant didn't work...tee hee! I agree with you, and hopefully the craft store has gotten more of those beads in as my last foray there wiped them out!

I agree with Shahla and Sedonia--fringe is definitely a good idea, and more fringe is an even better idea :)

If the craft store is out of that color bead, you could always pick a contrasting color and alternate strands. Maybe black AB, if they've got it.

That's a dynamite idea...they do have black AB. Silver would be pretty too!

So glad this dress found such a great owner! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Oh, that's right! My poor teacher rolls her eyes when I gush about my latest bhuz purchase...this one will make it's debut in a cane dance to a Gwen Stefani song...
