Thread: Help me decide...costume ?

Hello,
I've been lusting after my friend's costume ever since she bought it at Scherezade Imports last winter. Luckily, she got it because the color would never work on me and it's too tiny.

Anyway, low and behold I found a version of it on Safticraft and I am saving to buy it. I can get it made in any color I want. I asked my friend if she would mind and she said no, as long as we coordinated who was going to wear it when. We're also in a troupe together so if we ever did a duet, we could match!

So here is her costume:




And here is the one I want:


Obviously, that yellow is hideous...but what colors do you think would work? I am thinking green with brown accents...Green like this one:

and maybe the same color brown that's on my friend?

I am not a photoshop expert...just a beginner but I came up with this...
I didn't change any of the colors on her beads or the front swag...

What about Turquoise and Navy Blue with gold beads. It would be very pharonic. Look at the Sphinx costume Eman makes. Love the color combo.

Oh man, I'm liking that too. What is a girl to do!? Brown and turquoise is always nice too.

i LOVE the green and brown!

Green and brown is nice. How about Magenta & Turquiose, Cranberry & Lilac, Deep Orange & Ruby Red, Royal Purple & Light Pink ? How about white and silver? Not sure if you can wear white, not everyone can.

I can't do white and silver. I'm too yellow. But look at their white/silver version...the design is slightly different....

Oooh- from the pic I think the white one kinda looks like vanilla ice cream with jimmies, I mean sprinkles! ..l;,
I like it but totally understand not wearing white...are you able to choose the colors of the beading as well?

Yes, I can choose the bead colors as well. As the Web site says: "You can choose your favorite color and beaded."

I hope it delivers what it advertises!
