I tried on the fuschia version at Shahrzad's. As I recall it was you who picked it off the rack! Bra felt pretty good, once fitted properly.

OMG, you're right, it's the same costume! That heavy clear plastic should keep it in place, then.

That costume looked stunning on you. I couldn't believe how it went with your tat.

I'm really not a big fan of these new barely-cover-anything bras. The turquoise color costume called Valley of the Queens on the first page - it just doesn't look right. It needs to cover more.
I recently saw a well known dancer in an Eman and I was disappointed. Her dancing was faaaaabulous as always, but the costume was not flattering on her (and would not have been on most people) the bra was just too small, it made her boobs look like they were about to pop out - and on top of it she didn't look proportionate - she had these great big round hips and butt, and a large chest to balance it out, but because the bra barely covered it, it made her look small on top and huge and heavy on the bottom.

I just don't like that look.

Something about Classique ala Cairo really appeals to me. I love the color of Tidal Temptation. I know what you mean about the cups on some of the Emans, Marianna. But I guess some dancers really like the smaller cups!

I love that the Zaki sisters continue to be innovative and really liked the article about them. I also I appreciate that Hanan continues to consistently deliver lovely costumes that are affordable (though I wish they would use fringe in colors other than gold and silver). Strange to see a Dahlal newsletter without Pharaonics costumes, though!

On page 6, I really like the lime-colored Oriental Classic. Nice mix of folkloric appeal with cabaret sparkle! ...and on the same page, Carnivale - yummy!

OMG, I love the Hanan, Fiery Instincts.

How do you dancers like these "one-sleeved" dresses? I can't make up my mind. Are they cool and asymmetrical? Or does it just look like part of the costume fell off? :-D

I love them. I think they look great on ladies who are straight up and down and OK on bodies like mine that have CURVES. Something about the asymeterical shape and curves don't mesh with my eyes, but over all, I adore them.

Had made up my mind to buy a purple or green bedlah but some funny sizes either small up top and big hips or the other way round. What about us ladies big up top and big hips to match!!!What about us hourglass ladies -disappointed.
Some nice Hanan frocks have appeared on the website all with no measurements though. I like to know if I wasting my time drooling!!

I'm pretty much in love with the Untamed Spirit from Oriental Originals (page 8). I've been craving a SIM and this one is yuu-uuuuuuuuuum!

I agree with the sentiment that some of those bras could easily distract from the dancing.

I'm lovin the cut on the Marinada dress, but I want it in Bronze Goddess colors!!

also i find the watercolor collage rather appealing..a lot could be done with colorful silk veils

nothing really excited me until i got down to the oriental originals ..i'm not as fond of the minimalist costumes but maybe if i had the body for one it would be different :)

craving any kind of dancing life form on my side of the island..dont make me go create one!!

Otherwise, I am in love with Untamed Spirit. It's fierce and, sadly, far out of my budget.

Mmm, anything in that catalog by Eman, that collection is just yummy.

I vote for "cool and asymmetrical". I've tried a couple on and they are quite flattering.
