Help! From the land of constant shine...
I am so fed up with my skin. Is anyone else out there in their early 30's already dealing with signs of sun damage and crows feet?
Well today's gripe is constant SHINE on my face. Every photo has this gleam right on my forehead, chin, and cheeks. I use a primer, I use about 40 pounds of powder, I towel off after every set, but the shine is still there!! I don't know if I'm over cleansing, or if my face is oily, or if I just sweat a lot... But what I wouldn't do for nice, dewy, non-greasy-looking skin when I dance! I'd love a photo where I don't glisten! Geez! Please, what are your tried-and-true makeup tips? I already use Mac mineral foundation, already use a primer, and already use a nice mineral powder.
Help!!..cr.:..cr.:..cr.: I'm still so young but I feel like I look 100!..cr.:

Have you tried pancake makeup?
It's thicker.
I think it's made by Max Factor.
I'm not a pro, but I do remember pancake lasted a few hours for me.
Just touch it up with a damp sponge.
My skin has gone from oily to dry, so I don't wear the pancake anymore, but when it was oily, it worked great for me.Last edited by gothique; 09-16-2008 at 07:25 AM. Reason: I'm not a pro, but I do remember pancake lasted a few hours for me.

Give this a shot: DeSlick Mattifying Powder.
And keep a constant supply of these on you: Shiseido Blotting Papers.

I definitely second the blotting paper. I've also learned that if you're short on blotting paper, you can use toilet seat cover sheets they're great at absorbing oil and sweat between sets or just during the day.

Re: Help! From the land of constant shine...
I found the SOLUTION&CURE of this after dealing with humid and sunny climates abroad:
http://www.makeupalley.com/product/s...ina/Sunscreen/
Sorry that I sound so "infomercially":
Invisible, non sticky and with great UVA/UVB protection,
It´s really mattifying(yet does not dry me out or clog pores),
so I even use it as a primer before evening makeup.
