Thread: L. Rose Melaya dress?

I've e-mailed Lora, but info is so fast here!

Didn't I hear somewhere that L. Rose is doing melaya dresses?

Anyone have one? Have a pic? Know the price?

What?!?!?!?!?! Wow! I love L. Rose. Are they really? They could and I bet they would be awesome!

Hi Lauren,

Our short flared beledi dress can be used for melaya, the basic dress is sleeveless, and is available in any of the stretch fabrics. The price for regular fabrics is $75, $85 for fancy fabrics. Of course, you can add sleeve and sleeve options if you wish. We don't have a picture up yet, but are working on it.

If anyone has a pic, I'd really like to see it!!!

I remember someone here mentioning that they had one, but I don't think they ever posted a picture. I would love to see it too.

When I was looking for a meleya dress, I almost ordered one from L. Rose, but then Shems put up a used one on the Swap Meet board that I couldn't resist!

Bhuzzer Nisima has one! I saw it (and photographed it when she attended my class once). I probably still have a pic somewhere, and with her permission will post it (or she can do so herself).

I remember really liking the dress. Hmm, I know I sent a copy if the pic to Lora/L Rose (with Nisim'a permission). Have to make sure she got it, though this is going back almost a year!
