Nordstrom is changing the logo on their makeup, so they're selling everything for $1!!! The make-up line e.l.f. ( eyes-lips-face) has been bought out by Nordstrom and will be re-packaged with the Nordstrom name on it. They are getting rid of all the make-up in ELF packaging. They are selling everything for $1. You do have to pay shipping . They have everything - powder, mascara, lipstick, a mineral line (100% natural), brushes & cases, nail polish, lotions, you name it - it's there. E.L.F. makeup is always $1. It's fun stuff to experiment with, but I've found that the quality isn't always as good as the more expensive stuff. Still, for every day makeup, it's cool.

2 people also just told me that this is not high quality stuff and probably not really from Nordstrom, but it will be delivered. Oh well, nothing much lost :(

On a related make-up clearance note...the Sephora near me has been selling the Napoleon Perdis line at 50%-75% off. I picked up a bunch of loose eye pigments for a steal. I'm not sure if the entire chain is having the same sale, but it might be worth checking it out!

I think Sephora may be clearing that line out entirely. I believe I had seen the NP stuff on the Sephora website

Yeah, Sephora is getting rid of NP, so it's on sale - clean up now, if you like the line! Also, you can now find NP products at Target - they also sell some Bare Escentuals, Pixi, Jemma Kidd and others.

OK, thanks to this thread, I'm now about $50 poorer! But I have some Sephora goodies on the way... A gal can never have too much make-up, right??

Milani stuff is great!
It´s *always* dirt cheap,
I adore their lipsticks,eyeshadows,blushes,loose powders etc.
The shadows fit in my MAC palettes.

There´s a seller on Ebay that has about 5000(!)Milani items in stock for 1-4$,so whenever I´m looking for a special color,
she puts it on a private "Buy it Now".

Well, on a positive note, you can get false eyelashes for 1.00. Can't get those prices at your local drug store.

ok, so this might not belong here, so excuse me ladies if I am inappropriate, but on the side I also sell Avon, and they also have great products that are affordable. They've recently gotten into Mineral Makeup, and I just tried their new mousse mascara. Great stuff! I can offer free shipping to those in Columbus, Ohio, but the shipping is really cheap, anyway. Hmmmm.... I work at Nordstrom. I couldn't ever imagine Nordstrom buying any company out. Nordstrom has it's own product group that is of the same quality as the other top designer brands. I'll ask my coworkers tomorrow if this is legit.

Nor could I imagine the company selling anything for a dollar. The least expensive thing that I've ever seen in Nordstrom is a $2.50 chocolate truffle...l;,
