Thread: Marta the Legend Luxuryline changed?

Has anyone else been puzzled by the Marta line of costumes lately?

Seems to me they've got new designers on staff for this line?

Their work always looked a lot like Sim Moda Evi before (and I've seen some in person, they *really* looked like this)


But recently what I see on E-bay, listed by them as the Marta line, looks like the two they have up now:




Has anyone else noticed/wondered about this?

Ugh! All I have to say is there are some threads about this in the Vendor Concerns forums. It's best to shop from the "Shimi" website. Believe me on this one.

The Marta costumes were the ones I drooled over for years. It's like seeing Pharonics suddenly selling dinnerplate bras with nipple tassels.

It has to be an imposter. Marta wouldn't sell such low class looking stuff. It's their reputation at stake.

That's what I thought! But it's the same mannequin, same blue backdrop, same e-bay account they've always used!

You should know that Marta has had some recent sad tragedy in her life. She was struggling with giving up the business entirely even. I believe she will be moving back to the US soon. So until she gets settled, we should probably just be a little patient with her.

I sure hate to hear that. I love their stuff (other than what was posted on this thread).

I have worked with both shimi.com and the site mentioned here, the quality of shimi is much different that the marta the legend line......be careful

Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that! I'll be patient. I thought something must be up. The costumes were always SO beautiful. I still remember the red velvet one with all rhinestone fringe....

I still want the butterfly naked dress! I have seen it in nude, green and red. All are yummy!
