Thread: Need a seamstress!

Hi everyone:) I have two students who need their costumes put together for a November 7th show in Michigan. We have the material and design but the seamstress that took on the project has yet to start on either of them (she's had them since June!) and I need them to be done for the show. They are not very elaborate but there is some beadwork on the bra and hip belt that I would like done. Anyone who can help me out I would greatly appreciate. I can drive to where ever to drop them off and pick them up. Help?

I am not in Michigan but do custom work 24/7. If you tell me more about the designs/budget/pics will help/etc...I can let you know.

I am in Ohio. Where are you working from? I can always send the materials and the like if it is too far to drive reasonably.

The girls were originally quoted $150 max for each of their costumes. If its more than that, I will do my best to cover them because they have really been put in a tough spot.

Both girls chose a bra that fits them well and can serve as the foundation of the top. We have the material to cover the bra with and make the hip belt from. The skirt on one is a simple circle skirt and the other needs to be more like a petal skirt or panelled skirt due to the color changing fabric she picked. It is chiffon and starts out one shade of green and gradually changes into blues. Neither skirt has been cut out.

Both costumes should have some beading on them but it doesn't need to be much or particularly elaborate. We have a design drawn for the bra that incorporates beadwork but it is pretty simple. I was supposed to pick the material and designs up today from the seamstress but she forgot them at home so hopefully tomorrow.
If you can help at all, I will get you all the info you need and the materials so that you can get these done for us:)
