Thread: Whoo hoo! Cheap canes!

I just found the best deal on bamboo canes! A dancemate of mine mentioned getting hers at a Halloweencostume/magic/gag gift type store in California so I checked with our local store (Magic Man) and lo and behold, they had canes for $2.95! Cheap! No shipping! Found two of the same length to practice double canes! This is such a great time of year...check out your local stores for your canes.

dang, you got yours cheaper! I bought 14 or so canes a few years ago at Party City, and they were $4 each....still super cheap, and no shipping. Yay, costume shops!

ps, Benadryl gets you jacked up? I'm unconscious about 10 minutes after I take it...

My cane is from a costume shop and I love it! One of my troupe ladies had one of the $10 foil dance canes, but decided she liked mine better and went to a costume shop to get her own cheap cane. They're a good weight and length for me and the nice thing is that you can still decorate them easily.

Benadryl makes me feel kind of woozy after I've taken it, kind of like a two beer buzz. Then it knocks my *ss out!

Our troupe will be doing a new cane routine. I'll pass this info on to my instructor.

Yay!!! I will be teaching a cane dance to my teens, but have to keep the costume costs super low. Was thinking of using dowling, this is WAY better!

They're a bit more expensive her, $6.95. They do have a whole bunch though. I might check them on my way from to class if I have time. I wonder if I'd do better online.

Benadryl makes me goofy before I need to get horizontal too :)
