    How much leverage do I have? - Custom order issue

    Ok, so I put this here instead of the vendor concerns forum because I am not naming names. But I have a problem and I am so angry right now I need your lovely support and help to fix it. ,m::

    So here's the deal. I ordered 3 troupe costumes about a month ago, and because they weren't in stock at various vendors, I had them custom made. It was ramadan so my choices were very limited.

    Anyway, the order arrived yesterday and the costumes are not right! They all have different designs on them. I expected (and asked) for them all to be the same. At least they are the right color...lol. I fear that they were not custom made and that the company in Egypt just threw 3 bra/belt sets they had in stock. I mean if they were custom made, shouldn't they all be the same?

    Also, the size on my bra is completely wrong. It was suggested that I get a DD, because I am large D...but this cup is HUGE. More like an E or something. It's not event close to fitting my rib cage size, which I gave on my custom order. ..cr.:

    We ordered these for an event in Nov and unfortunately we won't have time to get new ones. I am so bummed about it.

    OK, so I have to get my order returned. Do I have a right to return these costumes? What sort of things should I say to make it better. I am afraid I might get nasty because I am so ill.

    I looked at the policy and it looks like I only have 48 hours...It's been 24 hours. I need to do something today! Please advise.

    i think you have the right to return them. you did not receive what you asked for. i have had the same thing happen and i wasn't offered a return but they did remake the costume. the second time around it was perfect.

    worst case scenario, they say no and you can try to sell them to recoup your loss

    I would just try to stay calm and collect myself and ask for a return/exchange whatever it is that you want, and make sure you have all the notes/emails/receipts whatever pertaining to the transaction so you are ready to explain that the sizes don't match what you gave them.....

    Return them! But good luck. Sometimes it can be hard returning internationally. What you could do if they aren't hideous is get then to give you a large amount of your money, keep them and try to resell. I am soooooo sorry this happened to you!!! Next time you need troupe costuming feel free to contact me. I do customs for a living and they would be to your specifications of course!

    Well I can return them for a full refund. Just sucks that we won't have matching troupe costumes for Nov 22 hafla. :(

    that sucks!! I had a problem with a costume months ago...but they were very nice and remade it for me

    can you all wear your royal blue costumes? I think it goes together as long as it is all the same color...?
