Thread: Stud Setting?

So I thought I would try my hand at making a belt and bra, and I thought for a first "practice" one, it would be fun to make a costume for the metal fusion choreo I picked up at a Suhaila workshop, to do at a hafla. Which explains why I now have a bra covered in black leather and am asking what I might use to embellish it with silver studs ...
I've never used a bedazzler or gematic thingy, but I have my doubts that they could put something through the two layers of thin leather plus bra material around the border of the bra, or if it's even possible to fit them with a large stud. Anyone want to weigh in on that?
I googled stud setters, and they are way out of my price range for a "practice" bedlah that I have about $10 in so far and will only wear once (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!). If all else fails, I could try faking it with a stencil and silver paint I guess, but I have real metal studs in my mind's eye. Any ideas on how to are welcome!

Let us know how your project turns out. I have always wondered about the hotfix method.

Ok, I am resisting the urge to suggestively combine "hot fix" with "stud setting". Somebody stop me!
