Thread: Got thin eyebrows?

Then read on... this is too funny. That wives tale is wrong. I've been plucking my brows for two decades now and the hairs DO grow back, their just very light in color, not wispy though.

Oh that is funny! I would have never imagined they could that... I have thin brows.. but I have a scar on one side that doesnt grow hair,,, so I try to match them....,r:;

If I let them grow back totally, untampered with, I'd have wild bushes over each eye... I think. I have a touch of trichotillomania and it seems my brows end up being the target.

I used to beat myself up about it, but I found out there's a genetic component... someone in my family tree was a puller as well... I look back at old photos and wonder which one was it!?

You would think that if plucking made them never grow back, you'd only ever need to do it once, wouldn't you.

Mine grow back black, same as ever, though there are one or two white ones now.

Has anyone else noticed that, as one ages one finds brows growing closer to the eyelid and attempting to bridge the nose? Or is it just me?

Mine only grow back where I DONT want them to. I used to have very thick Lebanese eyebrows which I despised in the 70's when they were SO not in. I would pluck furiously because I wanted Marisa Berenson's thin and delicately arched almost invisible brows.
Now I wish I had my eyebrows back but they won't grow other than in the area above my nose, which I have to continue plucking.
I guess some people are lucky and they grow back, others like me will never get them back the way they were.
