Thread: Great Loop - Again!

Hi ladies, I had already been toying with the idea before I stumbled upon the other thread about the Great Loop love affair :) I was thinking about ordering from Dahlal and wish I could find more of a color chart. The pics were great in getting a better idea of what some of the colors looked like but what the heck does prism mean? :) If ya'll know of where I could find better definition of the colors, I would surely appreciate it :)

I think phaoronics have their own website now - you could try there, or contacting them directly. However, your best bet might just be trawling through the threads or posting an appeal for great loop pics on here. Re 'prism', generally I take that to mean that it reflects other colors when the light hits it, though it might mean something different in the context of the great loop.

Hmm, I caught myself searching for their website last night, but all it came up with Dahlal and Audrena. Guess you're right and I'll just have to scour the internet looking for pics of various colors :) I suspected that about prism but with various manufacters, ya never know.

I agree with the other posters, too, that "prism" might be synonymous with "iridescent".

I think it'd be great if everyone with a colored Loop would post photos so that others could see what the colors look like. I can't find anything like that on the Pharaonics website.

you can just go to amira's or dahlal's website and look at *any* pharaonics costume. you can get a great loop in any color any other costume is made in.

prism may mean that the the sequins/beads are irridescent, or (more likely IMO) that they're holographic.

I had the best luck contacting them directly and discussing the available colors. One color I thought I wanted I ended up not getting. Apparently the photo did not capture it quite the same as it was in person.

I gave the a description of what color I wanted and the guy (I cannot remember his name but he was a great help) helped me to choose a color based on my description and his swatches.
