Thread: does anyone wear dancewear?

I'm ogling Salsa and Latin Dresses, Tango, Club and Ballroom Dancewear at the moment ..wow these are really cute dresses. I like some of the pants too. Does anyone wear their melos with a sweater or something to work?

What other dance wear separates do you wear on a daily basis?

Those dresses look like they are clubbing dresses, not something more professional.

I have had a job where I could and did wear my yoga pants. While it was nice, it also didn't help me to take my work very seriously.

Now, on the weekends, I live in my yoga pants and melos!

I used to wear wide-leg gauchos to work when I was working at a clothing store. I'd also wear a lot of tie-tops, the cropped ones over camis.

I love them, too, though mine are all too big for me now.

I buy most of my yoga pants via American Apparel. Actually, through a screen printer in E-bay who sells their overstock for about half what you'd pay in the store. They are a little lighter in weight than VS's, but I like them.

My fave outfit is yoga pants, tee shirt and flip flops! I'd like to try the wide leg yoga pants from VS one day...

I used to wear my dance pants all day, but only on the days that I had class. They looked cute with a long shirt and fitted jacket I had.

i love the dance pants look with T's :) was just looking at L Rose's selection of pants too..velvet jazz pants with wide legs would look really cute

yeah i think i may order those Victoria secret wide leg yoga pants, there are some cute casual tops that would go well with them on the site

i wish we had seasons here, would love to wear winter clothes:)

I have 2 pairs of Sharifwear pants that I do wear to work and I totally get away with it looking "professional" by pairing it with a nice sweater or top and heels.

It's so comfortable and most people just think I have this great work wardrobe.

I wear my wide leg palazzo pants to work, but not yoga pants or Melos. I do have a nice VS hoodie/yoga pant set that I have worn on holidays and such when this place is basically empty.

Wow, they have some cute tops and pants that would be great for class, workshops, audience at a show.

I love jazz pants for workshops and class, but they are over the top for my office. I do wear wide legged pants, the crop pants, and the palazzos with cowboy boots during the colder NY weather - wish I was in Hawaii, Jess!

I have palazzo pants that I wear both for working out and to work ... love them so much I bought them in every color they had ...so comfy, but with the right top they look really dressy ... their especially great for days when I get up and just wish I could stay home in my pjs

how do palazzo pants fit? i know they are supposed to be loose but how long?

Metallic Dot Halter Dress

There's a lot of cute stuff out there, but I rarely buy pants from these vendors because their clothes are sized for women who are 5'6" or shorter. I'm 5'10" and I now buy only pants from web sites that publish the inseam length AND make an inseam that is no less than 34 inches. (If the pants are flared, then I want 35 inches minimum.)

I have a collection of Geisha Moth pants that were custom-made for me, and I love them because they're not only cute, they're LONG enough! Woo hoo!

I'd like to find out about some good sources for palazzo pants that could also go incognito to work. Suggestions?

If anybody tries those VS Wide Leg Yoga Pants lemme know how it goes, at work I prefer to be comfy but jeans are outta the question.

I wear my melos and similiar knockoffs to work with nice boots and such. Of course I work in the theatre. The kids in my afterschool arts ed classes think I'm pretty cool because of my dancewear!

I bought a couple of the sexy Sharif-wear esque salsa pants that Lauren once recc-ed and I use them with my bedlehs quite a bit and also as clubbing gear.

I LIVE in my yoga pants and gauchos. No seriously I LIVE in the them! Since I teach almost everyday I don't even bother to change LOL
