Thread: The PERFECT way to cover a bra cup!!!

So I'm making a halloween costume on commission, a playboy bunny if you must know, lost of fur everywhere, and I thought of, and just implemented the perfect way to cover a bra cup!

Take felt, and align one long edge along the top of the bra cup, allowing it to "hang over" as much as you need to fold over for the hem. Pin in place at the center front of the bra, center top of the cup, and top armpit edge of the cup. Now pin the underside of the bra cup, keeping it nice and flush with the bra cup. Pin down from the under arm and across the bottom from the center until you have a dart created that slants toward the bottom, outer edge. Mark the dart with a pen or pencil. Mark all the outer edges, leaving the overhang for hemming/folding under. Cut on all marks, including cutting out the dart, and voila, pattern made. Fold fabric in half, right sides facing, and cut out, sew dart, and afix to cup. Tada!!!!

Brilliant! I'll use this on my next project. For larger cup sizes, might need two darts, tho...one from the side and one from the bottom. Cheers!
