    Lime Green on Blondes?

What do you all think-can blondes wear lime green well? I am naturally very pale, so I have always worried about these "electric" colors like lime, yellow, orange, or any pastels. I do use the Loreal Sublime self tanner, so I can have a fabulous faux tan. What do yall think?

Lime green is PERFECT for blondes. Check it out from this cool website:

Choosing the wrong shade of green can do absolutely nothing for your appearance, so select carefully. There are green-blue blends (sea green, forest green, racing green) or green-brown blends such as olive, khaki and jungle green.

    * Green is one of the colors that works well on red-heads (very few colors do). Wear a strong green like emerald, olive or forest green to make red hair stand-out.
    * Juicy lime greens are just right for blondes, particularly if they have some warmth in their skin, like Charlize Thereon. Lime green is mixed with yellow, so is a good matching tone for blonde hair.
    * Mint green looks dramatic on dark complexion as this strong pastel provides a vivid contrast to the skin tone. Darker shades are too dull or muddy, but strong lighter shades look striking and light up the face.

I'm very drawn to lime green, too, but not the almost-neon-lime green. Won't work on my pale skin. Green must be difficult for me since it's between blue (yay!) and yellow (not so much on me).

OK-this makes me feel better-I was eyeing an apple to lime green costume on swap, and I wasn't quite sure I could pull it off!

I think Lime green looks good on anyone, you just need to balance your make up to go with it.

It's the neon pink or oranges that's hard to wear, neon blues and green's I think anyone can look good.

I look dead in orange undertones, or orange-hot pink, I'm pale, light skinned, dark hair.

I bought beaucoup yards of acid green material, and most of the ladies in my class are wearing it, from silver white hair, blond, brunette, they ALL look great in it!!!

    Re: Lime Green on Blondes?

Green is my favorite color and I think there's a shade of it for every complexion. But lime green is tricky. It's a very loud and juvenile color, so I'd make sure your skin isn't ashy.

I think lime green would be alright on blondes, but not neon green. I've seen a very pale blonde try on a neon lime green costume and it didn't work. I'm very dark haired but with pale skin and it didn't work on me either. So definitely ask someone who you know will be honest with you. You certainly don't want to hear "oh it's so beautiful on you" from your friends, only to find out from a client that it's a complete disaster.

I think the right lime green can look vibrant and stunning on a blond. It's all about picking the right lime green. ..g.:

....and yea- "old fashioned" advice always said redheads could only wear a couple colors. Really it's about picking just the right shade in the particular color...and you're right Kiyanna, Damiena has a whole rainbow of costumes and she looks fab in every one. ..g.:

That was a MAGNIFICENT key lime Noussa. And Rose, I just came across the headband, which I thought I'd sent to you ages ago. D'oh. Can I bring it with me when we come down on the 7th?
