top SEVEN costume color choices
I'm making these scarf sets in Hawaii, they are a set of seven to represent the seven different (main) islands and was thinking it may be cool to do something similar for bellydance veils..
So was thinking of making a gift set or package deal of the 7 most popular color choices to go with the 7 most popular costume color choices
What would you say are the most popular costume color choices?
This is the list I made and some veils that would go with each..
1) red and burgundy costume
veils- ruby glisten, or fire, crimson fire with burgundy
2) turquoise costume
veils- turquoise island, bird of paradise
3) deep blue costume
veils- sirena or hummingbird
4) teal
veils- tickle me teal or kata
5) royal purple
veils- heaven sent or kata
6) pastel colored costumes (would also include white)
veils- bint mint would cover pastel pink, turquoise, mint and lilac all in one
7) metals..gold, silver and black or tribal inspired/triberat
veils- one of the spanish dancer veils

Re: top SEVEN costume color choices
Here are my winninng combinations, mostly skirts and tops:
Burgundy costume:
Wine merkaba
Turquoise costume:
Hummingbird and bird of paradise
Blue: Merkaba
I am fond of having a yellow/gold/copper bottom of a skirt, which emphasizes its movement.

I'm wondering if you need *both* teal and turquoise on the list, if that results in a need to cram gold and silver into sharing a slot.

Re: top SEVEN costume color choices
was thinking about lumping turquoise and blue together, and green with chartreuse and teal..

it also seems that brown costumes are a continuing trend. as opposed to back in the day when brown costumes were lumped into gold/bronze/caramel, it now seems that brown for the sake of brown is very popular....
hot pink is another color, which I think will never die. Seems a lot of people prefer wering fiuchsi to wearing a pastel shade, for fear looking pasty or wahed out.

and veils that go with browns/bronzes also go with leopard print - another popular 'color'. :)

What about black? MY favorite....
Very hard to find black veils that don't look like a funeral drape....
