Thread: best color stay lipstick

for my wedding
taking ideas here! I would prefer to buy it at CVS, so hopefully its a drugstore brand

I'm crazy about Maybelline Superstay. It's like a stain you paint on with a sponge applicator. Let that dry (very important step) then put on the gloss.

If I go to sleep with my makeup on, it's still there in the morning!

For daytime, I apply it thinly and blot, then put on the gloss to get a subtle bit of color.

I just had a giftcard to cvs, but I can do walgreens!

what color do you use? I will use it for my wedding and I don't want it to be too bold. I have fairly light skin, but hopefully will have a medium tan for the wedding.
I plan to do my eyes with white and possibly lancomes "the pink carpet" eyeshadow. I'ts kind of pinkish-plummy (that's the color of the bridesmaid dresses)

Hehehehaha LOL--I work as a paralegal in the corporate offices; I absolutely refuse to step foot in a CVS!..l;,

Anyhoo, I really like L'Oreal's H.I.P. line - super-vibrant colors (the colors are so bold that to me they almost glow!:)) and really, really STAY!
...BUT even more w/the staying power is L'Oreal's Infallabile Never Fail Lip Cololor = which is a 2-parter w/built-in mirror; you "paint" on the liquid color and 2 minutes later you coat w/the conditioning top coat (very important, because the lipcolour is almost like permanent marker--It's movin' in & not going anywhere for the next day or two!..c::--but it also sticks on and dries up big-time, so that you'll have to apply the conditioner periodically

sorry, I don't remember the color names and I'd need a microscope to read the tubes!

I use a bright, clear deep red for performance, and sometimes a sheer bit of that one for everyday.

But there's also a rosey mauve one that's just one shade brighter than my actual lip color, and I like that one a lot for a more subtle, soft look.

OK--so w/my L'Oreal brand suggestions, I personally use these bright red colors (L'Oreal H.I.P="Bold", L'Oreal Infallible="Cerise") for performing; For you & your Big Day/Wedding(!:)), I would suggest the H.I.P. color, "Vivacious" which is more of a subtle mauve-y berry frost color. The L-Infallible line also comes with more muted hues with just as much stay power...

Lauren, I went to Walgreens on Sunday, Nov. 2nd & got a huuuge plethora of FALSE EYELASHES on clearance!!! I was sooo excited! Hope you got some, too!!! Thanks to Azhia, I'm totally hooked on falsies--eyelashes, that is!..l;,

I love L'Oreal Infallible. I have a beautiful dusty rose/mauve: I can't read the color print, but the big number on the bottom is 110.

I am a fan of Revlon Colorstay. It STAYS, through performing, eating, and showering. Love it.

I use Max Factor's Lipfinity, love it!

I use Cover Girl. I think it's called Outlast. It's a two-parter, too. I only use it for performing, so I don't know what colors are available other than red.
