    Lotte Berk, anyone? (for floorwork)

I am an exercise dvd ADDICT...not just the mainstream ones like you might pick up at Wal-Mart...but lots of the less mainstream ones as well.

Anyhow, I am a big fan of Lotte Berk dvds. The exercises *look* really simple if you are just watching them, but they are TOUGH.

If you have never done them before, and especially if you do floorwork, or want to gain the core and thigh strength for it-I HIGHLY recommend the dvd Lotte Berk Basic Essentials.

The instructor can get a *bit* annoying...but it pretty much targets all of the muscle areas that you need for floorwork. All you need is a yoga strap, and a kitchen chair (or ballet barre, if you happen to have one).

It's only 28 minutes long as well. ;)

I just started "muscle eats fat" DVD last Monday. Was looking if someone else here used it. I love it. Very efficient. Works the entire body. Was a wee challenging at the beginning though.

Currently I have the Basic Essentials-but I am loving it so much, that I am hoping to get Muscle Eats Fat, High Round Assets, and Hip Hugger Abs!

Have you tried Callanetics Revolution dvd? If you like Lotte Berk, you would probably like this, too! (Similar exercise style-small repetitive movements.)

I want to try Callanetics. Thanks for the lead, I'll buy it and try once I'm done with Lotte Berk DVD's. I read a lot about that method and it sounds very interesting.

The problem with my body is that I do not grow muscles. But with Lotte Berk I already see improvements on my arms. Also, when I miss the hour of my workout (my lunch time), I feel like something is missing :-).

Thank you for this post. I have had Basic Essentials sitting in my dvd drawer for a couple of years unopened. But yesterday I got it out, opened it up, and did the workout.
