I thought this might be about when one of your zills goes flying off your fingers during a show and you just keep playing (or attempt to) like nothing happened.

Take a schikhatt workshop with Morocco. She teaches how to zill with 3 zills.

pull a jim boz and get a different 4th one ;)

Ummm....so where would one find this video...just so I know never to go there.

I have long been wondering whether it would be feasible to have a zill matching service where people can post requests like this, and then can either find a replacement or donate their decimated sets.

Alternatively, it would be nice if zill manufacturers would offer this service. I know that Suleyman El Coyote used to actually do that, dancers could send in a set of zills if they had lost one, and he would replace it with a matching one - awesome. It makes me wanna cry that he doesn't make zills anymore. Has anybody ever asked Saroyan or Turquoise for a similar option?

I once saw a dancer's project where she'd attached zills to her hip scarf. It was a triangular scarf, and she sewed a zill to each of the three points on the triangle. The zills were sewn down flat, with the rims flush to the fabric, kind of like a big-ass sequin. It turned out really cute.
