    Yes, I bastardized another costume to make mine and I enlisted the help of a coupe of friends. When it's finished I'll take some photos and post here.

    Well done Shems, that's great news. I wish my friends were so co-operative, I could really do with a helping hand, I imagine dresses are a bit more tricky to fit on oneself.
    I'm going to plunge right in and start mine today, a simple flared dress in gold with a large nude mesh cut out across the middle... I hope it works!

    I've adjusted another costume to suit me better, but I'm still not entirely happy with the back. I think I might try to adjust it to be a little more elegant. The original costume photos below. I got the original from the belly dance store.
