Thread: Squished Bras

My friend's mother decided to "organize" her costume closet without permission. She took each of her daughter's costumes out of their individual boxes and crushed seven of the costumes into one small box. ..c::

Now all the hard cups are squashed flat. Any idea how to repair them?

My friend is devastated.

Steam the inside of the cups till they are warm and pliable. Using 2 round and heavy objects of the appropriate size, wrap them in clean dish towels and place them in the cups. Allow to hang upside down while the fruit is suspended in a hammock type effect. Let dry and cool for 24 hours. It may work.

BUMMER!!!! ..cr.: Definitely I would try steaming and hanging with the appropriate size fruit (wrapped in a dish towel, plastic bag or aluminum foil of course ..g.:

I've had some that are even much happier with just the fruit or other round object, no steam needed. But steam should fix them faster.

Mama definitely needs a scolding! her daughter needs to take her for a guided tour of the Swap-meet so her mom can get an idea of the worth of her daughter's stuff. had to do that to make my folks understand that yes, it is quite expensive and no, i can't just go to the store and buy another copy of the same, and hence, don't touch my dance stuff!!

Yes, mom should stay out of their closets!! HOping the bras will come unsquished!
